Exercise is a physical stress applied to the body, if you experience too much stress from other areas of life then the exercise you do may not have the effect you want. Finances, specifically as they relate to paying the annual tax bill, can be one of the most stressful areas of life many of us deal with. If we are overstressed about how to file our annual tax report then it could have a negative impact on the rest of our life keeping us from getting the results we want in the gym.

On this episode of All About Fitness, Shannon Weinstein, CPA and owner of Fitnancial Solutions, stops by to talk about how you can make this tax season a less stressful and identifies specific steps that you might be able to take to reduce your tax burden and keep more of your income. In addition, Shannon identifies some common mistakes that could wind up having the IRS take a closer look at your filing, and NO ONE wants that. This is an educational and insightful conversation on how you can become more fiscally fit.

NOTE: Although Ms. Weinstein is a qualified professional, the information she provides on today’s podcast is meant to be educational in nature and is not intended to be interpreted as individual tax advice. The potential tax savings strategies discussed on this episode are not applicable to all tax situations, so be sure to talk with your accountant or tax preparer if you want to implement any of the items that Shannon discusses on today’s episode.
