CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is a non-psycho-active compound from the hemp plant that can interact with receptors in the body to support or promote a number of health benefits. Congress recently passed legislation that allows hemp to be used for a variety of purposes including CBD production. Eric Smart is a veteran of the pharmaceutical industry and lifelong fitness junkie who saw the potential of CBD to help exercise enthusiasts maintain their high level of physical activity. Mr. Smart teamed up with Dr. Bill Goble to create Myaderm, a transdermal CBD product that can help promote post-exercise recovery by reducing exercise-related pain and inflammation.
