The phrase 'touring rock band' probably conjures up images of loud music, wild parties and crazy antics. However, in the 21st century a rock star is more likely to get a smoothie and massage after a show instead of partying all night with groupies. Dani Abasi is the drummer for the UK band Neck Deep, and although he played a number of sports while growing up, Dani never took his fitness seriously until a friend motivated him to get in shape; now exercise is a key component of his lifestyle as a professional musician.

On this episode of All About Fitness, Dani stops by to talk about his fitness journey, how exercise helps him prepare for the demands of being a drummer and shares his tips for making time to workout while on the road. This is a fun interview that takes an in-depth look at the life of a touring rock star.
