Dr. Michael Yessis is Professor Emeritus at California State University, Fullerton, the President of Sports Training, Inc. and an author of multiple articles and books on the science of how the human body adapts to exercise. The former Soviet Union had the best sport scientists and researchers in the world and Dr. Yessis is well-known for having studied the Soviet methods to be able to apply them to athletes here in the United States.
