There are two different ways to understand how the body adapts to exercise: the anecdotal evidence learned by committed fitness enthusiasts who share their practical experience of years spent pumping iron in the gym or from academic researchers who do specific studies on how the body adapts to a particular exercise stimulus. On this Quick Fit Tip I discuss the two different types of research and how you can identify the best resources for learning about fitness.
